Groenten uit Balen

The Steverlinck-Poltrock team proudly provided 3 tracks for a newly released movie called 'Groenten uit Balen' This warm and genuine movie, set in 1970, and based upon an iconic theatre play by Walter Vanden Broeck tells the story of a turbulent strike in 1971in the zinc factory of a town called Balen. 

All tracks have been recorded live on 6 tracks, 'late sixties style' with the funny boys of Triggerfinger as a backing band and Jasper (serving double duty in a cameo as well) as a lead singer.

One of the tracks, 'Schoolyard' was recorded twice to be sung by rising star Jana De Valck and mixed in mono Phil Spector style.
